Mayor Montandon finished with 39% of the vote in the recent Carson City Central Committee Straw Poll. The final results were Montandon 39%, Gibbons 40% and Sandoval 20%.

Expectations were high for Gov. Gibbons to poll well in his own backyard but the grassroots support for Mike Montandon showed once again the people’s discontent with the establishment status quo.
